Graffiti Removal was initially the the focus of our business and it continues to be a big part of what we do. We offer a variety of processes which effectively remove or cover up unsightly graffiti tags. The following are the most common processes that we use:
  • Hot Pressure Washing
  • Hot/Cold Pressure Washing with Water Based, Biodegradable Products
  • Dry Ice Blasting (used more in the winter months for certain applications)
  • Color Match Painting with Stain Blocker Primer

What Graffiti Means To A Community
Graffiti is more than just words or symbols sprayed on a wall. Graffiti is an act of vandalism that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to remove or cover every year. Every dollar spent on graffiti removal is a dollar that could be used on other badly needed programs.

If not immediately removed, graffiti sends out a message that "nobody cares" about the area. It also causes the area to look unsafe and makes people concerned about their personal safety. This creates an open invitation for more littering, loitering and other graffiti. Unfortunately, it may also lead to an increase in other crimes and acts of violence. Areas filled with graffiti are less appealing to those who may be looking to buy or rent property. Property becomes more difficult to sell and values are reduced.

Graffiti, done without the owner’s permission is not "art", it's a CRIME!

Take Action To Prevent Graffiti & Vandalism

Property owners should have the graffiti removed on their property within 24 hours after it appears. This will prevent the offender from receiving the fame and recognition they desire when other taggers see their "tag" and reduce the likelihood that it will spread.

Graffifi Facts:

  • It costs more than $2 billion per year just to clean up graffiti in Canada Graffiti can also lead to what's called "collateral crime." About 80 per cent of the people Toronto police arrest for graffiti admit to stealing their supplies, and drugs or alcohol are involved in between 60 and 70 per cent of the cases.
  • Immediate removal - within 24-48 hours - is the key to successful graffiti prevention.
  • It is a common misperception that most graffiti is done by gangs when in fact gangs are responsible for less than 10% of graffiti.
  • Graffiti vandals represent every social, ethnic and economic background. Suburban males commit approximately 50% of graffiti vandalism from pre-teen to early 20s.
  • The average age of the arrested graffiti vandal is 17-18, with an overall broad range of 8-54.
  • Community paintbrush murals are rarely defaced by graffiti and instill a sense of pride among those who live nearby.
  • There are four primary motivating factors for graffiti vandalism: fame, rebellion, self-expression, and power.
  • Getting the media to publish photos and videotape of graffiti is often the ultimate fame for graffiti vandals.

Sacrificial and Protective Coatings

If your property is repeatedly hit with graffiti and has a "sensitive surface," the application of a sacrificial or protective coating will ease removal.

The coatings provide a barrier between the building surface and the graffiti. With sacrificial coatings, only the coating with graffiti is removed, using a high-pressure hose. The sacrificial coating is then reapplied to that specific area. For protective coatings, a remover is applied and the graffiti is wiped or sprayed off.
